EvilSpeak's first release will mostly delight fans of cinema from the 80s. Translating its passion for B movies, horror, sci-fi and post-apocalytpic flicks of that colorful decade, EvilSpeak celebrates the world of electronic music settled by icons like John Carpenter, Giorgio Moroder, Vangelis, Tangerine Dream and many other legends from this world.

Enter a universe of hypnotic pulses, screaming guitar, growling saxophone and yes, some of the 80s cheesiness that we all (secretely) embrace.

*The title «Le survivant de l'an 3000» is strongly inspired by some music written by Detto Mariano for the soundtrack of the italian post-apocalyptic film «The Exterminators of the Year 3000». Music that was probably taking some of its inspiration from Vangelis's end theme for Blade Runner. In the 1980s, Italians we're ripping off a lot of movies (Mad Max movies in that case). Anyhow, EvilSpeak intention was to kind of do the same «exercice», but with the music. Dialogues are taken from the french version of the The Exterminators of the Year 3000.

Ce premier titre de EvilSpeak réjouira les amateurs du cinéma des années 80. Traduisant sa passion pour la série B, l'horreur, la science-fiction et le post-apo de cette décennie colorée, EvilSpeak célèbre l'univers de la musique électronique légué par les John Carpenter, Giorgio Moroder, Vangelis et Tangerine Dream de ce monde.

Entrez dans un monde de pulsations hypnotiques, de guitare hurlante, de saxophone rugissant, mais aussi de ce côté bien mielleux des années 80 que nous aimons tous tant... secrètement!

*La musique de la pièce «Le survivant de l'an 3000» s'inspire fortement d'un thème écrit par Detto Mariano pour la trame sonore du film italien «Les exterminateurs de l'an 3000». Une musique qui, elle, s'inspirait probablement du thème final de Blade Runner écrit par Vangelis. Durant les années 80, plusieurs films italiens empruntaient, pour ne pas dire reprenaient carrément les grande lignes des blockbusters. Dans le cas qui nous intéresse, il s'agit de la série des Mad Max. L'intention d'EvilSpeak était de reproduire ici le même genre «d'excercice», d'un point de vue musical. Les dialogues proviennent du doublage français du film «Les exterminateurs de l'an 3000».
